Adult Hockey Development I (ages 18+)
Prerequisites: Must have some basic recreational skating experience with can include public sessions or pond skating.
Equipment: Full Hockey gear
Adult Hockey Development I is a challenging and stimulating learn to play hockey program for adults 18 and older. This course targets players with limited hockey experience who want to develop the skills necessary to play the game at the beginner level. Players will be exposed to skills like stride development, hockey stops, turns, crossovers and inside and outside edges. They will alsog et a chance to learn how to control the puck, make and recieve passes and be introduced to shooting mechanics and game play.
Adult Hockey Development II (ages 18+)
Prerequisites: AHD I, other organized adult hockey programs or coaches recommendation
Equipment: Full Hockey gear
Adult Hockey Development II provides an enviroment where intermediate or advanced skaters can take their game to the next level. This more rigorous and intensive program will introduce players to more advanced skills, such as backward crossovers, and puck handling in addition to more challenging edgework. Skaters in this setting will be exposed to more complex systems and game play situations like odd-man rushes. Players will gain experience with progressively more challenging situational tactics and strategies.
